Aspiral Learning have a range of training solutions so that they can work with you to identify the best one to suit your needs. We offer innovative off the shelf courses as well as bespoke training solutions, updating and refreshing soft and hard skills relevant to our market demands, and financial climates. 

The Employability team can offer you bespoke courses, offering a range of sector specific qualifications, distance learning, functional skills English and Maths, Microsoft Office training, Management training and much more.

Free English and Maths courses

English and Maths are some of the most overlooked skills shortages within Industry that have a negative impact on organisations. Join an increasing number of businesses who have utilised this FREE training to help their staff communicate more accurately and effectively. This includes free English and Maths courses to support individuals to obtain and Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.

Sector Based Work Academies

We offer employers the option of interviewing our learners for employability following a short employer led course. We would like this to be a solution providing service for any interested employers, and we can offer qualification courses that will cater for their specific requirements. The Employability Team can create funded tailored employability preparation courses to prepare the candidate for employment and the specific company culture of the employer. We have delivered bespoke courses in hospitality, retail and warehousing.

How does it work?
• Job Centre Plus selects and refers interested candidates for a specific employer.
• BCoT can provide facilities and tutors to conduct a bespoke employer led course.
• The employer is then able to interview and select from a work ready group of candidates who have been specifically trained to fill their current vacancies.

Benefits
• Employer can hire specifically trained local workforce that can integrate with their company culture
• Employers have the opportunity to establish and build a positive relationship with their local community and have a positive impact on the local community.

Funding Support

Many of the courses we deliver attract full or part funding from the Government, making them free or a reduced price for individuals and employers. 

We can let you know where this funding is available but the bullet points below summarise the key areas:

Full funding is often available for:

  • some industry-specific qualifications
  • Functional Skills (English and Maths) at all levels
  • Apprenticeships for 16-18 year olds
  • an individual’s first Level 2 qualification
  • an individual’s first Level 3 qualification if they are aged 19-25 year and don’t have Level 2 qualifications

Partial funding is available for the following qualifications; we would usually expect the employer (not the individual) to fund the balance:

Work-based Learning

Work-based courses give you a flexible way to study that supports your business and your individual development. Our wide range of vocational subjects, short courses and professional qualifications have different teaching methods:

  • one-to-one
  • group sessions in the workplace
  • e-learning or online learning
  • class-based in our dedicated employer rooms.
