LEARNING SERVICES
Classes are available for those wishing to improve their English (including English for speakers of other languages), Mathematics and Computer skills.
The service offers you:
- An interview to discuss your learning needs
- An Open Learning Centre where you can work at a time to suit you and use a word processor if you wish
- Part-time courses at set times throughout the week, both daytime and evenings
- Free tuition
- The chance to achieve a qualification in either Numeracy or English
- Learning Services also offers advice to those considering teaching essential skills

Skills for Life - help with essential skills English, Maths and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
COURSES FOR STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES
Supported Vocational Studies offers part-time courses for adults who have learning difficulties.
Students may pursue a part-time course that prepares them for employment.
Students may select one or two enrichment options from a range of social and life skills.
