Student Profile
Alex is studying for the National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, which forms part of the Apprenticship programme. He came to BCOT from school and studied on the Performing Engineering Operations NVQ Level 2 full time course for one year. His hard work and determination paid-off when he gained an apprenticeship at the Middlesex Group, a company which provides design and Manufacturing services to the aerospace, automotive and associated industries.
"A career in engineering has many different challenges. This course allows me to think creatively, find solutions and devlop new ideas in the world of engineering. An Apprenticeship has allowed me too begin my career in engineering and gain qualifications and skills, while working within the industry", said Alex.
