Functional Skills (improving your Maths and English)
No matter what career you are aiming for – employers are looking for a solid level of Maths and English. So whether you need to work out measurements in your plumbing course, or complete forms and paperwork in your animal management course – basic Maths and English are essential.
At BCoT we actively encourage all students to work towards a level 2 standard in Maths and English.
You can even retake your GCSEs to gain a minimum grade C, which many employers and universities require.
You will be given all the support you need to build your knowledge and skills at a pace that’s right for you.
