BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
Are you interested in the music or sound industry? This exciting course, which is equivalent to three A Levels, looks at aspects of performance, MIDI, sound equipment recording, studio management and production. You will have access to our sound studio complete with modern recording and mixing equipment, sound-proof booth, multi-track recording facility and DJ facilities.

BTEC Level 2 Diploma
This course will interest those seeking a career as a sound engineer or technician within radio, theatre or music related industries. The topics covered include sound systems, sequencing, digital sound and the sound industry. You will have the opportunity to work with professional sound engineers in the BCOT sound studio and take part in activities both in college and off-site.
Access to Creative Technologies
Entry Level
This new one year course is designed to give students a broad-based introduction to the world of creative technologies. The course covers, media, music, information technology and art & design. It provides the skills, knowledge and the understanding to progress to a Level 1 qualification.
Creative Technologies
Level 1 Diploma
This course offers study in a wide-range of creative technologies, these include; information technology, using the internet, video production, website design, games development and music technology. It provides the skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to the workplace and to progress onto a Level 2 diploma in Information Technology, Creative media Production or Music.

Both Sam and Simon will be progressing to the National Diploma next year and intend to apply to ACM, Guildford, to continue their studies.
