11 Mar 10
BASINGSTOKE College of Technology has reached a significant landmark in its history after being recognised as an Investor in People (IIP) for more than 10 years.
To mark this prestigious milestone in showing a long-term commitment to the people it employs, BCOT has been presented with a certificate, which will be displayed in the College's main reception.
BCOT received the excellent news in a letter from Jane Jones, IIP's Director of Policy and Communications, in which she stated: "This is a fantastic achievement demonstrating an ongoing dedication to people and a commitment to continuous business improvement.
"BCOT joins a select but growing group of more than 3,000 organisations, who have achieved such a significant milestone."
Wynne Handley, BCOT's Head of Quality and Standards, added: "This is tremendous news. I am extremely pleased that the College's ongoing commitment to helping its staff reach their full potential is being recognised on a national scale."
