This framework has been developed by employers and providers to meet the needs of small and medium size enterprises through to the larger organisations. It provides a structured approach to training and developing prospective Accountants who understand the needs of the organisation, its customers and the sector within which they operate. This course will enable candidates to obtain a Level 3 Diploma in Accounting qualification with 41 QCF Credits, through the Association of Accounting Technicians professional qualification.
Course Length: 12 months
Course Location: Workplace plus 1 day a week at college

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is currently on their journey in accounting and working towards becoming
a fully qualified Accountant.
You will learn on
the job and in college taking into account how you would assist in the day to
day financial activities such as data entry to month end management accounts
and/or year-end financial statements.
This Apprenticeship programme is made up of the following four components:
AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
Knowledge units include:
Competence units include:
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths
Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS)
Successful completion of Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Accountancy (AAT Level 2) or Manual Bookkeeping Level 1 & 2 with a tutor recommendation/appropriate vocational competence or A level accounts. the Apprenticeship will suit such job roles as: Trainee Accountant and Trainee Accounting Technician.
Each unit will be assessed by a computerised examination.
Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Accountancy.
