Access to Higher Education in Biology with Chemistry

Full Time

Course Overview

This course has been designed specifically for mature students who do not have the relevant qualifications for entry to higher education.

You will attend college four days a week between 9.30 and 3.30.

You will be assigned a personal tutor who will support you with studies and personal development.

Good time-management skills are necessary as assessment of the course is on an on-going basis.

The curriculum is structured so that core study skills units are delivered together with the cohorts of the other Access courses in the College and the specialist science units are delivered as individual groups by our Science tutors.  There are weekly tutorials where one to ones take place and you set own targets for development of specific skills and knowledge, including completion of the UCAS process. Your learning is further supported by Google Classrooms where all resources, assignments and schemes of work are uploaded for you to use.
