Update - 23 March 2020
From Monday 23 March 2020, the college will move to online learning for all learners. We will be maintaining timetabled activity through the use of Google classroom. You should log onto your Dashboard and use the link in your timetabled session to join the lesson remotely. Your remote attendance will be recorded on the register. If you do not join the remote lesson you will be marked as absent.
If you require any equipment to enable you to work at home, please contact your RAP tutor as soon as possible.
For students - Access to lessons via Dashboard timetable.
A video has been put together to demonstrate how you can access lessons - watch it here.
Please use this website, student emails, Google Hangouts/Meet and your Google Classrooms to access support and self help guidance.
If you have any concerns or worries, please contact your RAP tutor. If you are feeling particularly at risk or vulnerable (especially during Easter) please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of the safeguarding team will get back to you.
Support for our students
We’ve put together a range of resources for students to help with their wellbeing, online safety and working remotely. Please click on the links below for more information.
Students should not attend work experience placements after Friday 20 March until further notice.
Instead students should complete the work experience tasks in Google classroom and record them in the usual way on dashboard to be approved by your WEX Co-ordinator.
We are not taking enrolments for any part-time courses for the remainder of this academic year.
