Corporate Electrical Engineering Courses

We offer a number of engineering courses for external corporations including a Level 2 distance learning course, as well as Level 3 and Level 4 electrical engineering courses, which are delivered in your workplace. 

Our Courses

Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering (2339)

This qualification consists of the following mandatory topics: 

  • Understand legislation in the power industry
  • Mathematics, mechanical and electrical theory in power engineering
  • Power engineering electrical networks, plant and apparatus
  • Power engineering: cables, substations and overhead lines

This qualification is suitable for those seeking employment or undertaking an apprenticeship in the Electrical Power Distribution & Transmission industry. There are no entry requirements for these qualifications. However, centres must ensure that learners have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualifications successfully. 

Level 3 BTEC in Electrical Engineering

This course aims to equip new and existing personnel working in the electronics field with the necessary skills required by a technician.

The course provides a good background in technical engineering, it supports underpinning knowledge for NVQs at Level 3 and is a recognised technical certificate for the advanced apprenticeship (Level 3).

Level 4 HNC in Electrical Engineering

This is a professional qualification for those already employed in the engineering industry and wishing to enhance career prospects. It is a two-year part-time day release course combining work and study. Find out more.
