Higher Education students and staff from Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) had a day to remember on Tuesday 17th October, as they celebrated graduation at Winchester Cathedral.Watched by friends, family and lecturers, more than 60 BCoT graduates attended the graduation ceremony to receive their qualification certificates. It was hosted by the University of Winchester, the institution which validates BCoT’s BA programmes, and celebrated students from a range of disciplines including Engineering, Textiles and Education.The ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor of the University of Winchester, Alan Titchmarsh, MBE, with BCoT Principal Anthony Bravo presenting each BCoT graduate with their award. Principal Anthony Bravo said the annual graduation ceremony was one of his personal highlights of the year, adding: “Winchester Cathedral is the perfect setting to celebrate and recognise the fantastic achievements of our Higher Education students.
