Basingstoke College of Technology has been provided with a sample bulletproof vest from SafeGuard Clothing – an international manufacturer and distributor of body armour.The vest was donated in order to give all Public Services students the opportunity to gain practical experience with professional bullet proof vests, preparing them for real life security scenarios.First-hand experience of using this police, military and security level professional equipment will give our student’s practical experience with protective clothing that they can take into their careers upon graduating from our courses.James Booty, Course Director for Public Services, said: “Thanks to SafeGuard Clothing for this generous donation of a bullet proof vest. We pride ourselves on offering the highest levels of practical experiences for our students.
