Hampshire County Council will be carrying out roadworks from Monday 5 March for approximately 4 weeks in the Winton Square area surrounding BCoT, as part of Operation Resilience.
During this period, whilst pedestrian access will be maintained at all times, a number of roads will be closed to through traffic for the full duration of the works. These closures will include parts of Worting Road, Winchester Road and Sarum Hill.
Due to these closures, a signed diversion route will be in place to divert all traffic via New Street and Penrith Road. This route will use; Winchester Road, Ringway West, Churchill Way West, Churchill Way East, Festival Way, New Road, Victoria Street, New Street and Timberlake Road. If you are travelling to the College by car, we recommend you allow extra time for your journey to arrive on time. We appreciate these works may cause some disruption to those travelling to College and thank you for your patience over the period.
During the four weeks of work, Stagecoach will be running revised routes around the town.
