Students celebrate success at graduation ceremony

Engineering students from BCoT attended the graduation ceremony in Southampton.

Engineering students from Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) had a day to remember on Tuesday 10 July, as they celebrated graduation at Southampton Guildhall, in partnership with Solent University.

Watched by friends, family and lecturers, four BCoT graduates attended the graduation ceremony to receive their qualification certificates. It was hosted by Solent University, and celebrated the hard work of Engineering students who had recently completed Higher National Certificate's and Higher National Diploma's at BCoT.

The ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor of the University of Winchester, Alan Titchmarsh, MBE, with BCoT Principal Anthony Bravo presenting each BCoT graduate with their award. Principal Anthony Bravo said the annual graduation ceremony was one of his personal highlights of the year, adding:

“Southampton Guildhall is the perfect setting to celebrate and recognise the fantastic achievements of our Higher Education students. I know how hard our staff and learners have worked to achieve their success and I am so proud and honoured to have shared in their special day.”

BCoT offers a number of Engineering HNC and HND courses for students who are looking to take the next step after completing their Level 3 qualifications. For more information, discover our range of Engineering courses today.
