BCoT held its first virtual open event of the academic year on Tuesday 13 October.
Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) will be opening its doors on Monday 14 October from 4.30pm to 7.30pm to hold its first open event of the 2019/20 academic year. For school leavers interested in starting next September and those thinking about college, the event is a great way to find out more about the range of full-time courses and apprenticeships the college has to offer.
Experienced teaching staff will be on hand to answer questions and there will be talks on the night to discover more about apprenticeships and to meet the Principal. Those attending will be able to look around the college campus, meet current students and see the outstanding facilities. These include industry-standard workshops, studios, salons and the latest digital technology.
Principal Anthony Bravo said: “Our open events are designed to give prospective students and their families a real insight into college life so they can see what it’s really like. At BCoT we are committed to giving young people the skills and knowledge for employment, apprenticeships and university. This is a great opportunity to come along and chat to us about how we can make this happen.”
