Staff and students celebrate at graduation ceremony

Students put on their robes and caps to celebrate their achievement over the last academic year.

Staff and students from Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) had a night to remember on Thursday 28 November, as they put on their robes and caps to celebrate their graduation.

Watched by friends, family and lecturers, more than 20 BCoT students attended the graduation ceremony which celebrated their achievement over the last academic year.

Hosted at BCoT’s onsite restaurant, The Restaurant at BCoT, the students were treated to a three-course dinner and a speech from special guest speaker Anthony Bennett. The ceremony was presided over by BCoT Principal Anthony Bravo who said the annual graduation ceremony was one of his personal highlights of the year.

“We are extremely proud to offer a wide range of higher level courses across our engineering and education and training departments. A number of the graduates from our education and training courses are now working as lecturers at the college, and I am proud and privileged to have shared in their special day.”

BCoT offers a number of Higher Education courses for students who are looking to take the next step in their career, including Level 4 HND and 5 HND engineering courses, as well as a range of education and training qualifications for anybody interested in a career in teaching.
