A fun and creative course in textiles that will enable the learner to complete a variety of sewing projects within a well equipped studio.
Students will produce decorative pieces (some with a festive theme) such as bunting, Christmas tree decorations and stockings, cushion covers, advent calendars, door stops and treat bags. Perfect to accessorise the home and great for gift ideas. Make use of those old garments, fabric scraps, ribbons, trimmings, buttons and beads that you have been meaning to use for years but didn't know what to turn them into or didn't ever have the time.
Suitable for beginners to the sewing machine or those with more experience that want to enjoy developing skills within a class setting. Some fabric, threads and buttons are available but students will be expected to collate and bring in their own pieces for the ideas to reach their full potential.
