This course is suitable for beginners to the sewing machine, or those with some experience who want to enjoy developing their skills with the guidance of a skilled tutor.
Make use of our professional fashion studio, equipped with large pattern-cutting tables and industry-standard sewing machines to transform those old garments, fabric scraps, ribbons, trimmings, buttons and beads that you've been collecting for years into beautiful home accessories and gifts for every occasion! You will have the opportunity to produce decorative pieces such as bunting, wash bags and zippered pouches, place mats, napkins, cushion covers, aprons, door stops, simple toys and tote bags.
Some fabric, threads and buttons are available but participants will be expected to collate and bring in their own materials to enable individual projects to reach their full potential.
