This training programme run at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) offers you the chance to gain valuable skills and relevant qualifications for employment within various industries. Working in small group sessions you will develop your knowledge and skills in a friendly environment. The course runs for two/three days a week over five weeks, not including school holidays. You may also have the opportunity to meet local employers with vacancies in this area.
As part of the course, you’ll learn how to prepare for work, develop your confidence and identify any barriers you may face in returning to work.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits or on an income less than £17,384.50 per year, this course will be government funded, however, you could still be eligible if you do not meet the criteria so please contact the team for more information.
This course is made up of several units and each unit will be marked by the tutor and feedback given. There is no formal assessment test for this course.
