Course Overview

This training programme run at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) offers you the chance to gain valuable skills and relevant qualifications for employment in customer service. Working in small group sessions you will develop your knowledge and skills in a friendly environment. The course runs for two days a week over six weeks, not including school holidays. You may also have the opportunity to meet local employers with vacancies in this area.

Course Content

The L1 Customer Service course covers customer service, teamworking, handling calls, taking bookings and payments and reception skills.

Entry Requirement

If you are in receipt of certain benefits or on an income less than £17,384.50 per year , this course will be government funded, however you could still be eligible if you do not meet the criteria so please contact the team for more information.

Assessment

This course is made up of several units and each unit will be marked by the tutor and feedback given. There is no formal assessment test for this course.

Where does this course lead to

This course can lead to a L2 qualification in Customer Service, ICT courses, Functional Skills English or maths or other areas of interest.
