This apprenticeship is
delivered on the job, within the workplace. Your apprentice will benefit from excellent
teaching and training from our industry qualified and highly skilled
assessors. Assessors will work closely
with you to ensure the skills being developed reflect your requirements.

This Apprenticeship is delivered through a mix of on and off the job learning. Through selecting from the optional units available, this qualification can be tailored to suit your employer and your particular job role.
The mandatory units you will need to cover are:
You should have (or be expected to achieve) at least 4 GCSEs grades A-D, or equivalent. If you do not have acceptable qualifications in maths, English language and IT, you will be expected to study for these as part of your Apprenticeship.
You should have an employer who operates in this sector and who sponsors your Apprenticeship. BCoT can help support you to find employment if you need it.
Successful completion of this Apprenticeship would allow you to progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship in any of the following: Traffic Office Advanced Apprenticeship; Logistics Operations Advanced Apprenticeship; Driving Goods Vehicles Advanced Apprenticeship; Warehousing and Storage Advanced Apprenticeship.
Alternatively you could move into a job as a Traffic Office Team Member, Lead Driver or Senior Warehouse Operative.
With further development and training, you could also consider the following roles: Warehouse Manager; Transport Manager. After further training and development for those who choose to do so: Foundation degree in logistics, transport planning, logistics operations and administration.
