Course Overview

This free training programme run gives you the chance to gain valuable skills and relevant qualifications used for employment within various industries. As part of the course, you'll learn how to prepare for work and identify any barriers you face if you've been unemployed for an extended period of time.


Working in a small group session, individual needs will be identified and skills will be developed in a friendly and mature classroom environment.

You will achieve a City and Guilds Award at Entry Level 3.

Course Content

You will be given advice and guidance on getting back into the workplace, improving your understanding of the industry you want to work in, and take part in a gap analysis of your current skills to give you honest feedback about your capabilities. 


Throughout the course, you will develop your confidence, promote your ability to learn in the workplace and achieve a recognised qualification. Near the end of the course, you'll be shown how to prepare for job interviews, and how to identify and research information required to answer some role related questions during the interview stage.

Assessment

All individuals will need to complete our BCoT enrolment paperwork before beginning the course. English & Maths initial assessments are included within this process to assess your current working level.
