A Combined (Competence and Knowledge) qualification is a
work-based qualification. Candidates will complete an initial assessment to
establish suitability, designed for team leaders and managers, to support the
development of their skills and competences in leading a team, making sure that
the team’s work achieves organisational objectives, and contributing to
planning, problem solving and decision making.
This programme is delivered through a range of assessment
methods including observations, discussions, case studies, knowledge questions
and witness testimonies. The functional skills exams are online assessments,
delivered in the work place. The principles units, will be taught in the
classroom (or at the workplace at request of the employer).
