The CIPD Intermediate level courses will give learners a broader perspective of the organisational issues facing HR professionals and enable effective analytical and problem solving skills CIPD Intermediate Level qualifications offer you the opportunity to build your expertise in HR or L&D. Set at undergraduate level (Level 5 RQF) they will help you to develop your ability to evaluate the effectiveness of HR models and practices and increase your understanding of organisations, whilst also developing your planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
By successfully completing CIPD’s Intermediate Certificate or Diploma qualifications with us you’ll automatically become an Associate and professional member of the CIPD (Assoc CIPD).. Intermediate qualifications are ideal for those who:
Subjects covered include:
Unit 1: Developing professional practice
Unit 2: Managing and co-ordinating the human resources function
Unit 3: Business issues and context of human resources
Unit 4: Using information in human resources
Unit 5: Resourcing and talent planning
Unit 6: Improving organisational performance.
Applicants must have either completed the Certificate in Personnel Practice/Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice course or have management experience in an HR role and hold at least an A level equivalent qualification.
Please note: It is a requirement that each candidate becomes a member of CIPD within four weeks of the start of the course. 80% attendance is required to complete this course.
Learners will be required to complete all six assignments to gain the qualification.
Successful completion of this course will enable the learner to progress to the CIPD Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management or the Advanced qualifications.
