This is a Level 4 course that gives understanding of the wider role of marketing and insight into consumer behaviour. Essential knowledge and skills to implement tactical marketing activities are given for successful performance at an operational level.
To gain the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing, you will need to pass all three modules:
+ Applied Marketing
+ Planning Campaigns
+ Digital Marketing Techniques
However, each module can be taken as a standalone to gain an award.
The Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended Basingstoke College of Technology for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the July 2019 assessments session for the Digital Marketing module of the Certificate in Professional Marketing.
The module comprises three units with two learning outcomes each. Each learning outcome will be covered by the related assessment criteria and be assessed by way of a portfolio/assignment.
By the end of this module you should be able to:
Unit 1: Digital Techniques
Unit 2: Digital Enhancement
Unit 3: Digital Management

If English isn’t your first language, you will also need to demonstrate that you’ve achieved one of the following English language qualifications within the last two years:
You will be required to complete a marketing diagnostic test.
The assessment will require submission of an assignment based on a theme and an organisation of choice.
Completion of the full CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing leads onto the CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing.
