Achieve a City and Guilds Award at Entry Level 3 whilst improving your chances of getting a job.

You will have mock interviews with colleagues from local businesses and guidance with CV writing, personal presentation, interview preparation and much more.

Course Content

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to ICT
  • Interview Skills
  • Searching for a Job
  • Prepare for and attend an Interview
  • and help with CV writing

This course is perfect for anyone who isn't feeling so confident with their employability skills and would like a confidence boost.

The course will look at the following:

  • Match your skills to vacancies
  • Overcoming barriers
  • Effective job search
  • Effective use of Universal Job Match
  • Promoting yourself
  • Questions your should ask at interview
  • Importance of Body Language
  • How to learn from interviews
  • How to use the internet and social media to search for jobs

You will also have the opportunity to have interview and job application practice.

Entry Requirement
