This Advanced Level Apprenticeship lets you develop your skill set and enjoy on the job training as either a nursery manager, crèche supervisor or supervising others in the early years childcare sector. You will learn on the job to develop your career under the supervision of trained nursery staff. More than that, you will continually have the opportunity to practice and embed your new skills in a real work context whilst working and earning money.
This apprenticeship covers a range of childcare and educational subjects supporting learners who wish to work in early years and primary education, providing training to support the development of a highly qualified, well skilled workforce within the children and young people's sector. Thus ensuring that children and young people accessing services in England gain the best possible care and support available.
As a learner this apprenticeship gives you a fulfilling opportunity to work with children and young people while also gaining an understanding into the how's and whys of their development.
5 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths or a level 2 Functional skills or above
You will be required to have a DBS clearance check.

Examination of case history
All teaching, learning and assessment for the qualification will take place
in the workplace, except you may be required to attend Maths and English classes at the college.
