This course is split into two units. The first is specific to understanding cyber threats, to include motivations, identification and effective response. The second unit focuses on effective cyber security policy implementation. Knowledge-based training is supported by a range of practical examples and relevant case studies which provide learners with the confidence to apply this knowledge within their organisation.
This course will offer additional experience for adults wishing to develop their skills.

These two units explore the principles of cyber security within organisations and how different security threats can impact the integrity of the business and its operations.
There is no formal entry criteria to study this qualification, however having experience in the IT or business industry would be advantageous.
This course is assessed via four written assessments which will run throughout the duration of the qualification.
This course can lead to further study in cyber security with the Level 3 Foundation Tech Level in IT (Cyber Security).
