Course Overview

The Diploma is designed to prepare learners for work in particular occupational areas, such as brickwork, woodwork, painting, decorating and basic plumbing.

Course Content

This course gives you the opportunity to build your practical skills and theoretical knowledge in your chosen area.  Units available may include the following pairs:

Entry Requirement

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs grades 3 or above including English and Maths.  Candidates without these may be asked to an informal interview with the tutor.

Assessment

This qualification will be assessed through your practical work and related online tests.

Where does this course lead to

The certificate provides a progression route towards achieving an NVQ Level 2.
