This programme is suitable for candidates carrying out the following tasks: Completing installations, inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical systems, devices, appliances and equipment in domestic, industrial, commercial, leisure and agricultural buildings, structures and environments.

Course title: Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation (2357 NVQ Diploma)
The apprenticeship programme covers a range of practical skills and underpinning knowledge and includes the following five components:
1. Full C&G 5357 - which consists of 8 theory units, 6 practical units including an Electrotechnical Occupational Competence unit for which the AM2 is the assessment
2. Functional Skills: Level 2 Maths, Level 2 English
3. Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR): mapped into the theory units
4. Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS): mapped into the theory units

This apprenticeship programme is aimed at new or existing employees within a business providing electrical installation services in the building and structures environment. Candidates must be aged 16 or over and hold 5 GCSE grades A*-C (4 or above) including Maths and English. An interview and screening test is required prior to enrolment.
Practical Assessments On-Site Assignments, Home works and End of unit tests.
End point assessment: AM2 Achievement Measurement Skills Test which comprises of 3 ½ day test at a relevant centre
