In this short course, you will learn some basic listening
skills and have explored a variety of themes which present in counselling
work. You will also learn how important
this type of helping work is, through reflecting on current mental health
statistics. The course is a great introduction to the counselling profession
and there will be plenty of advice and guidance on the best route for training
and certification with BCoT.
There is no formal entry requirement but the following
criteria should be considered before you sign up for this course:

There is no formal assessment for this one day course.
Candidates can apply for the CPCAB Level 2 Counselling
skills course. Please note BCoT offer a Level
2 Intensive day course over 18 weeks and a 30-week evening course.
