What is ECDL qualification?
The ECDL (European Computer Driving License) certification is a highly recognised qualification, it offers you a key recognition of your literacy in computer skills and is designed for novices or casual computer users and will get you to a high computer literacy standard. The ECDL Certification is the fastest growing IT user qualification in over 125 countries, with many UK companies setting the ECDL as a mandatory requirement, such as the NHS and the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

BCS Certificate in IT User Skills - ECDL Advanced Level 3 (ITQ). This qualification is for competent IT users who wish to advance and develop their skills and knowledge to an advanced level in MS office products. The course focuses on the skills required to help gain employment in an office environment where everyday computing skills are essential.

The qualification is assessed through online or manual tests created by the ICDL Foundation and BCS and delivered using the BCS in-application assessment platform.
This may include progression onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship or Level 4 Higher Education Qualification. Following completion of this qualification learners may wish to consider exploring other qualifications or pathways available from BCS that enable them to specialise in areas such as data management or cyber security.
