Course Overview
This NCFE CACHE diploma is completed over 24 months and learners are expected to complete both knowledge and competency elements.
An experienced assessor will support you by gathering work-based evidence using an e-portfolio.
Course Content
There are 23 mandatory units to be completed using a variety of assessment methods which includes a longitudinal study, which is an observational study over a period of time.
Entry Requirement
You should also have successfully completed a relevant Level 2 qualification in childcare and be employed in the sector with a DBS clearance check. A good standard of English and maths will be required which will be tested using an initial assessment method.
Assessment
This diploma is delivered in the workplace using various assessment methods collected throughout the course. It includes workplace observations, witness testimonies, professional discussion, oral and written questions and work product evidence.
