This training programme offers you the chance to gain valuable skills and relevant qualifications for employment in childcare and working with young people, including childminding, nurseries, schools and residential settings.
The Level 2 qualification covers child development, safeguarding, welfare and legislation. As part of the course, you will have the chance to meet local employers and/or agencies with vacancies for jobs.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits or on a low income, this course will be government funded, however you could still be eligible if you do not meet the criteria so please contact the team for more information.
As part of this course, your work will be assessed through workbooks. There are no formal exams as part of this course.
