You will need five GCSEs grade A*/9 to C/4, (including English, maths and preferably science) or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification.
The course is continuously assessed through assignments, projects and case studies. Students will develop a responsible and co-operative approach to working on their own and in groups. The course uses practical activities, presentations and involvement with local businesses wherever possible.
Students may progress to a Higher National Diploma or degree course, or advanced Apprenticeship. Employment opportunities range from telecommunications, electronic and mechanical engineering, design, sales, quality control, maintenance, manufacturing, or production engineering.
