Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering

I tried A-levels before coming to BCoT and I quickly realised I wanted to learn more hands-on.

Why did you choose to study with BCoT?
I was originally studying A Levels in Sociology, Psychology, English Language and Human Biology. I decided I wanted learn more hands-on. I came to an Open Evening and the staff gave me some really good ideas about what to study

Why did you choose your course/Apprenticeship in particular?
Engineering is a good mix of maths and design and is really logical, so I knew it would suit me.

What do you like most about your course/apprenticeship? Any memorable moments/trips?
The trip to SSE was really fun. They gave really good advice and we even got one-to-one sessions with helpful careers advice.

What do you think of your tutor/the staff at BCoT?
The teachers are great. They treat you like adults, trust you, and are really supportive. They quickly saw what my strengths were and recommended projects that would suit me best and push me.

What would you say to anyone thinking of doing the same course as you?
I’d really recommend studying Engineering at BCoT. It’s not like anything I’ve done before at school. It’s really varied with loads of different topics.
