Course Overview

This course will help you develop fluent knowledge, skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts. It will also help you acquire, select and apply mathematical techniques to solve problems.

The course is ideal for anyone who doesn't currently hold a grade C/4 in maths or is looking to improve a previous grade.

Course Content

This course will cover all necessary mathematical concepts that will be necessary to develop your skills in maths including:

Number
Algebra
Ratio
Proportion and rates of change
Geometry and measure
Trigonometry
Statistics
Probability

Entry Requirement

You will have to sit an assessment paper before being enrolled on this course.

Assessment

There are 3 exams - two calculator papers and one non-calculator paper.

Potential further study within mathematics. Many jobs now require you to hold a grade 4 or equivalent and gaining this may help your career progression.
