This work-based qualification is aimed at learners who are working in a management and advanced practice role in either a health and social care or children and young people's workplace.
The qualification is tailored to suit the learner and employer by choosing the most
relevant optional units, in addition to the mandatory required units which gives learners opportunity
Through a variety of mandatory and optional units, which are tailored to your job role, you will work towards completing the qualification with the support of your assessor who will visit you on a regular basis.

You should be employed in a senior role in a health and social care setting. and have achieved a good standard of English and Maths at functional skills level 2 or above.
The qualification is completed by submitting the required evidence needed for the qualification through different assessment methods such as observation, professional discussion, written assignments and witness statements. A suitably experienced and qualified assessor will be allocated who will support and train the learner to complete the work.
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to support you to lead a Health and Social Care or childcare service.
On successful completion of the diploma you could choose to progress on to a relevant degree in Health & Social Care or childcare
