Course Overview

This qualification is aimed at those working as, or aspiring to become, a hospitality manager, Head of Department, kitchen manager, head chef, executive chef, front office manager, front of house manager, reception manager, accommodation manager, housekeeping manager, executive housekeeper, food & beverage manager, restaurant manager or bar manager.

Course Content

This qualification offers the opportunity to progress to the next level, both in terms of professional qualification and experience.  It covers topics such as managing a food & beverage service, producing new dishes, front office, producing new menus plus many more options covering supervisory and management roles.

Entry Requirement

  • Must be aged 18 or over
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and/or
  • Relevant work experience
  • Successful interview with course leader
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above
  • For international students there is an ESOL requirement/IELTS score of 6 (minimum of 5.5 across every element).

Assessment

This course is assessed through a combination of practical assignments and course work.
