This course provides an introduction to the world of professional cookery and food service, either for direct entry or for those moving on from our Future Pathways programme.
Units covered will include:
^ Kitchen Operations ^ Special Diets ^ Food and Drink Service ^ Developing Social Skills
Candidates should have (or be predicted to achieve) at least 4 GCSEs at grade D or above, including English and Maths. Candidates without these may be considered but will be expected to work towards achieving these alongside their course.
This course is continuously assessed through assignment and practical work.
This course is suitable for progression on the a full time Level 3 course or an Apprenticeship.
