BCoT held its first virtual open event of the academic year on Tuesday 13 October.
Why did you choose to study with BCoT?It’s close to where I live so it’s easier for me to get to. I started on Future Pathways and am now studying L2 Hospitality and Catering.
Why did you choose your course/Apprenticeship in particular? Sparsholt was my number one choice originally. I wanted to study Horticulture. I changed my mind and wanted to learn how to cook as it’s a necessity in life.
Do/did you have a career plan in mind before joining BCoT and has it changed?I want to get a job in front of house. I prefer being out the front than in the kitchen.
What do you like most about your course/apprenticeship? Any memorable moments/trips?The trip to Winter Wonderland was really good.
What do you think of your tutor/the staff at BCoT?The tutors are awesome. They’re really kind, caring and they really understand you. You can speak to them about anything.
What would you say to anyone thinking of doing the same course as you?I’d definitely suggest BCoT. It’s got a really friendly environment, it’s local, it’s easy to get to and the teachers are really kind.
