Studying Public Services offers an exciting mix of practical and hands-on learning with coursework, rather than exams.

What has surprised you most about BCoT?

BCoT is nothing like what people said it would be like. Every course is different and I’ve made some really good friends.

What do you like about your course?

It’s really hands-on and has lots of practical elements. The course topics are really interesting and I really like the Citizenship and Diversity module – I’ve learned a lot!

I’ve also been on some great trips. On my second day of college, we did a counter-terrorism exercise and we took part in a practice hostage scenario. It was quite scary but good fun and I really bonded with my classmates!

Why did you choose to come to BCoT?

The courses offer practical and hands-on learning with coursework rather than exams. Although a lot of my friends went to another college, I wanted to study Public Services. I’m really pleased I made that decision as I love it.
