BCoT has received two awards for helping to improve lives and excelling in barbering education.
Why did you choose to study with BCoT?I had heard really good things about BCoT compared to other colleges. I attended the Open Evening and the lecturers were really nice and that was when I knew what I wanted to do.
Why did you choose your course/Apprenticeship in particular? I met the Travel and Tourism lecturers and they were all really positive, enthusiastic and energetic. They seemed really fun. Travel and Tourism has loads of different careers pathways afterward.
Do/did you have a career plan in mind before joining BCoT and has it changed?I originally wanted to do Hairdressing but would now love to do something in Travel and Tourism.
What do you like most about your course/apprenticeship? Any memorable moments/trips?The course is flexible and the lecturers make sure you get your work done on time and well. I’ve only been at BCoT for six months and we’ve already done a trip to London and to Flybe’s training centre in Exeter.
What do you think of your tutor/the staff at BCoT?Mark and Philippa are really good. They are really supportive, really helpful and good fun.
What would you say to anyone thinking of doing the same course as you?Do it. Studying Travel and Tourism at BCoT is the best decision I’ve ever made.
