During this course you will:

  2. Explore the barriers to effective listening
  3. Discover a range of listening skills to use in a variety of situations
  4. Learn the importance of self-care as a listener

Course Content

Listening skills are vital in all aspects of our lives and help support good relationships with others. On this short course, you will learn a variety of listening skills to support you in all communication with others.  You will also learn the importance of self care as a listener because at times we may hear things from others which are distressing and overwhelming.  You will be provided with information so should you find yourself hearing difficult issues from others in your personal or work life, that you know where to access support.
