This Apprenticeship provides the knowledge and skills needed to support senior staff and managers in the care sector. In your job role you will be make a positive difference to an individual's life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges.

This apprenticeship is an integrated programme of knowledge and skill which has been developed alongside core behaviours expected of a competent worker operating in a regulated field.
The apprentice would achieve the following
A level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care
Functional Skills in Maths and English at L2
The Care Certificate
Undertake and achieve the end point assessment which is graded pass, merit or distinction
Learners are expected to be working care setting with at least 6 months experience where they may provide leadership, direction and guidance to others.
Learners must have completed the Care Certificate and have undertaken the Enhanced Disclosure and Barring process .
Prior to starting this qualification the learner will need to have achieved a level 1 (or have the equivalent) Functional skills in English and Maths
Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress on to level 4 or 5 in management courses
Job roles could include deputy manager or specialist workers.
