Course Overview
This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to apply for a degree in all areas of Nursing, such as Adult, Children, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing. This can lead to a career working in the NHS, the private sector, the community, research, or education.
The course has been designed to provide entry to University and is worth 45 credits which are graded and 15 credits which are ungraded study skills. The course is suitable for mature students who have been out of full-time education for at least one year and do not have the relevant qualifications for entry to higher education.
The course is delivered online, so study can be undertaken at your own pace and an allocated individual tutor will support you throughout your learning journey. Your learning is through an online portal where all resources and assignments are uploaded.

Entry Requirement
- You need to be aged 19+ from the beginning of September.
- GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Assessment
This course is assessed through assignments submitted electronically for each unit.
