Under Anthony’s guidance, BCoT has achieved significant milestones, including:

  • Widespread use of technology and AI in teaching, learning and assessment.

  • BCoT’s OFSTED profile improved to Good and most recently was acknowledged to be Good with Outstanding behaviour and attitudes, personal development and adult learning.

Mike Howe, Chair of Governors, said: “Anthony joined BCoT with a mission to significantly improve the College. His strong and unwavering leadership has developed a happy, purposeful culture, excellent estate investment and BCoT currently has the highest success rates for an FE college in Hampshire. Anthony has worked consistently well with Governors, developed strong teams and led on national initiatives such as AI. He was awarded an OBE for his services to Further Education in 2024. He leaves with our sincere thanks, and we wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement.”

Lorraine Heath, who has served as Deputy Principal for over six years, has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the College, which will ensure continuity and stability during this period of transition.
