With the NHS being one of the largest employers in the UK our courses will prepare you for careers in allied health or social care settings. Many people get great satisfaction from helping others and knowing they have made a difference to their lives. You will not only focus on learning the underpinning theory for your course but will also have the opportunity to put this into practice through work experience and work placements.

  • Placements are undertaken in care homes, day care centres
  • We organise guest speakers which could include consultant psychiatrists and care agencies
  • Trips to the Florence Nightingale Museum and Victorian Operating Theatre in London
  • Trip to attend the annual Health, Social Care and Childcare Conference in Paris
  • Marwell Zoo to look at Health and Safety risk assessment
  • Itchen Valley Country Park for team building
