Future Pathways
Our Level 1 equivalent, Future Pathways is a one-year course aimed at 16–17 year olds straight from school. As well as helping you achieve your GCSE English and maths qualifications, you will learn employability skills, undertake 35 hours of work experience, and get the opportunity to try different courses every half-term up until Easter, at which point you can then choose the subject you would like to study at Level 2.
Subjects available include: Animal Management, Automotive, Childcare, Construction, Hairdressing, Hospitality and Catering, Media and Computing, Public Services/Sport, Travel and Tourism and Business
Foundation Pathways
This full-time course is aimed at 16 to 19 year olds who require extra support and who may struggle on a mainstream programme. The course incorporates English, maths, personal development and life skills which are studied alongside a mainstream vocational course which includes work experience. We will also provide you with one-to-one support to help you transition to the next step which could be an apprenticeship or a Level 2 course.
