Terms and Conditions for Adult Courses 2021/22

  • BCoT is committed to providing a safe learning environment. As part of this policy all students agree to wear their ID badge at all times whilst on campus.
  • If you have any disabilities or learning difficulties you can inform us during the enrolment process. We are committed to supporting all students. In some cases we will undertake a learning needs assessment prior to confirming enrolment.
  • You may cancel your enrolment at any point, and for any reason, prior to the course starting. If you do so, all fees paid will be refunded, less a £20 administration charge.
  • Sometimes we have to change the fees published in our printed guide. Please visit our website for the most up-to-date course and fee information.
  • Courses listed in this guide will run if a sufficient number of people enrol to make it viable. It is at the college’s sole discretion whether a course will run or not. The college aims to provide at least one week’s notice if a course is not going to run, but on occasion the notice period may be less than this.
  • If the college decides not to run a course, all fees paid will be refunded in full.
  • Once a course has started we cannot refund any fees in relation to that course.
  • Where your employer is paying your fees, they will remain liable for the fee even if you leave their employment.
  • If you are paying fees by instalments you must complete the payment plan, even if you are unable to complete the course.
  • Fees quoted in this guide apply to UK residents only.
  • If you are an overseas student, you will need to attend college in person as part of the enrolment process. Fees for overseas students are calculated differently (due to non-availability of government subsidy) and we will explain this to you prior to enrolling.
  • Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas, nowhere else on the campus and not on the Worting Road between sites.
  • If you intend to drive to college you must obtain a car park permit if you wish to park on the college campus.
  • For enrolments before 31 July 2021 on to qualifying courses running in academic year 2021/22, with payment of all fees in full at the point of enrolment, a 10% discount on the tuition fee element will be applied, where the learner is paying for themselves. Where an employer is to be invoiced or the learner is taking out a payment plan, the discount is not available.
  • Application of the early enrolment discount concession - qualifying courses are ESFA funded courses and full-cost courses (including learners aged 19+ enrolling on Level 3 and 4 qualifications where the learner is paying the full cost themselves). The discount will only be available during the summer recruitment campaign. This policy does not apply to staff enrolling on courses where the course is not relevant to their current post. The Tuition Fee Remission policy applies to staff enrolling on to eligible courses.
  • Any course funded by the ESFA can also be match funded by ESF (European Social Fund) ESF supports activities to extend employment opportunities and develop a skilled workforce. Further information can be found here.
