With the enormous growth in the digital media industries, our courses will prepare you for careers in the many diverse areas or higher level study. You will have the opportunity to work in our recording studio, music practise and photography rooms. Our specialist games design is home to the latest technology in virtual and augmented reality as well as motion capture. We have an excellent track record of industry relations and a diverse range of work experience opportunities, including creating social media content for All in the Mind Festival, and interactive tools for Lasham Gliding Heritage Centre.

Trips and Industry Links
Media and Games Design students at BCoT have previously been on trips to Solent University to view the end of year exhibition, as well as an annual trip to the EGX games exhibition in Birmingham and photography trips around the UK. In 2019, students took part in a regional Overwatch Tournament, a gaming tournament which saw the students host qualifying heats before attending the regional finals. Students also hear presentations from a range of guest speakers, including representatives from University of Southampton about future careers and opportunities in the industry.Take a 360 tour of our Media and Games Studios.
